Putney Mountain forest floor[dropcap size=”225%” color=”#4a912b” textcolor=”#ffffff”]W[/dropcap]e have purchased the Hannum-O’Connor parcel and met our initial financial goals for the project!  We are continuing with fundraising to meet unanticipated stewardship needs.

BIG THANKS to all of you who contributed to the success of this important acquisition and to the following:

Special thanks to – Joan Weir of Vermont Land Trust and Judy Anderson of Land Trust Alliance for their invaluable guidance and support; Susan Kochinskas and Andrew Toepfer for graphic design and map making and to Dr. Bierregaard for his osprey talk (also to Lonnie and Sam Wharton for organizing it);

Sally Pennington, Meg Mott and all the other Holland Hill neighborhood efforts.

 And thanks to all who made the sold out benefit concert a success – the Putney School for use of facilities, the Putney Co-op for water and especially to the “The Devil Makes Three” who brought it all home with wild exuberance and spirit.

Sincerely,

Putney Mountain Board of Trustees
